The Jobs of Fur Traders and Clerks, Their Attitudes and Their Social Position

# 9

The jobs that the traders and clerks have and their social positions and attitudes have a great deal to say about them. First of all there is the Bourgeois, who is the rich owner of the trade system and the top of the social class he oversees everthing that is going on. He usually is very buissy and has a attitude like "I am better than you" but makes the clerk do all the hard work. Then there is the Trader his is socialy underneath the Bourgeois but above the commis. He is always working but is very wealthy. He has control of the trading post accept when he has buisness to attend to in the villages. His attitude is usually "I'd love to talk but I have to get bank to work". The Clerk or Commis is the one who's social position is right below the Bourgeois. He has a very hard working attitude and knows how to read and write so he keeps track of all the financial statement and buissness orders. He also runs the trading post unsupervised sometimes so he is always up to his neck in work.  So, over all the Bourgsois is a big rich guy that does nothing really and the slightly rich commis that does all the work.
